And so it begins. Day 1. The beginning of my journey to becoming the fittest in my life starting at the age of 41. I know it will be no small feat. Not only physically, but especially mentally. If you think about it, it’s the mental change that will dictate if my journey is a complete success or a failure. The reason I said ‘a complete success’ is that without a doubt, there will be many little successes along the way as each goal is obtained, both small and large.
It’s reaching the ultimate goal in the end that is the true prize for me. Reaching it….and then maintaining it. So putting it that way, I guess the journey will technically never end. But, one step at a time. One small goal after another.
So here we are. Every day I am going to post exactly what I did the previous day. The food I ate. The workouts I did. Whatever obstacles I may have faced, whether physical or mental. Basically, this is going to be a daily journal of my journey and I won’t be leaving anything out. Good or bad. I’ll be putting myself out there. It holds me accountable to not only myself, but others that may start following me on my journey.
It’s my hope that maybe I will inspire others to do the same.

- None yet. 1st day went smoothly.
NOTES: All my food is cooked with either organic extra virgin coconut oil (unrefined & cold-pressed), organic extra virgin olive oil, or grass-fed ghee. The coffee listed at breakfast is actually taken with me to work in a small thermos and I drink it throughout the morning. It equals to a little over a cup, about 1 1/4.
