Day 13. It’s a Saturday. This is the 2nd weekend into my journey and things are going good. I’ve only workout out 3 days thus far, but being back in the game has me more excited about what the future will bring.
Right now, I’m loving it. That could change, but let’s just go ahead and live in the moment, shall we? 😉
Sunday is the NFC Championship between the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers. Should be a good game. Part of me is nervous and part of me is not. I’m sure Seattle will do what they always do to me and wait till the 2nd half to start really playing. They are without a doubt a team that shows up in the 4th qtr., so even if they are down, they are never out.
We’ll just have to wait and see.
I really want them to repeat! :
Day 13 Menu and Activities
- Cardio – 4 mi. walk/jog outside (decline, incline, straightway)
- 2 large brown eggs (cage-free or free range), medium
- 2 pcs. bacon
- Fruit medley (blueberries, blackberries, sliced strawberries – organic, if possible)
- 1 cup coffee, black
- 1 Tsp. Fish Oil
- Large Salad
- mixed greens
- shredded medley (broccoli, carrots, red cabbage)
- sunflower seeds
- PaleoChef Wild Berry Dressing, drizzled
- Baby carrots with Macadamia Nut Ricotta
- 1 Tilapia with red rub
- 1 Sweet potato
- 1 Gallon +
- More focused
- Better memory
- More energy
- no mid-day crash
- Joints in ankle hurt when I tried to jog; too heavy still
Overall Feelings: I feel pretty good for the most part. Today I went for a 4 mi. walk that I used to do on a regular basis last summer. During the walk, which I would do at a rather fast pace, I would also jog along the way. I felt pretty bummed though when I attempted to do that today and the joints in my ankles really bothered me. It’s just too much weight right now for me to have pounding on the payment. That was the only thing that got me down today. Other than that, it was a good day. I know that in due time, my joints won’t bother me.
