Day 135 and it’s Tuesday. So yesterday I did a two-a-day. I really do enjoy those, however, when it comes to weight training, I’m going to probably back off a bit as I can’t do chest exercises right now. It just means that I won’t be weight training 5 days a week.
I think at the moment, I will drop it down to 3. So, probably Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
I need to experiment with the best routines to do. I did back, biceps, and triceps yesterday. That leaves legs. I guess shoulders too, but I kind of do those when I do my back anyway…and, I’m hesitant to do shoulder isolated exercises because…well…of my shoulder. 😉
So, I will definitely be trying to figure out the best weight training schedule for me over the next couple weeks.
However, the one thing that I DO want to ensure I complete daily or at least 5 times a week, M-F, is the 4 mile walk/run after I get home from work.
So, on to Day 135’s grub and activities:
Day 135 Menu and Activities
- 2 large brown eggs (cage-free or free range), cooked medium
- 2 pcs bacon (no nitrates or nitrites)
- 1 cup fruit medley (organic strawberries, blueberries, blackberries)
- 1 cup coffee, black
- 1 Tsp. fish oil
- Large Salad
- mixed greens
- shredded purple cabbage
- 2 pcs. bacon, chopped
- ½ small avocado
- Bistro Blends Fig balsamic vinegar, lightly drizzled
- Small amount of honey/cinnamon coated almonds
- Cardio – 4 mi. walk/run outside (inclines, declines, straightaways)
- Beef Stew (leftover)
- 1 Gallon+
- Desktop/Counter Pushups (arms shoulder-width apart)
- Less stamina
Overall Feelings: So today are continuing to go good. I did get a little frustrated with my lack of stamina during my 4 mile walk/run today. I know I shouldn’t get too down, and I was quickly over my frustration because I know I will get it back, but I definitely wasn’t as fast or had the longevity I did today that I had prior to taking 4 weeks off.
It’s definitely eye-opening as too how quickly your body can decline by making not so healthy choices. Lol!
No worries though…I Got This! 😉
NOTES: Nothing more today.
