Day 137. Alright, so it’s Thursday. Yay! That means it’s one more day closer to the weekend. That always makes me a happy camper. It’s also a long weekend as it’s Memorial Day on Monday. I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend, but please take a moment to reflect on what this Holiday stands for and the sacrifices that have been made by so many to provide us with the freedoms that we enjoy each and every day.
So as I mentioned yesterday, I was trying to decide whether or not to do legs on Thursday or Friday. Well, I decided to go ahead and do them today…however, considering how sore I am already starting to become…um…oops!
Man, I knew this was going to happen! Aaah. I think for sure now that I need to go ahead and have leg day be on Fridays. If I feel the soreness already coming on…eek, tomorrow is going to be hell! Needless to say, I have a feeling I’ll be walking around like I’ve just had a few enemas. Whoo hoo! Fun times to be had! 😉
All I can say is…bring it on! Ha! Ok, maybe not!
Anyhoo – let’s get on to Day 137’s menu and activities:
Day 137 Menu and Activities
- Day 137 Weights – Legs, 50 min.
- 2 Scoops ProMix Unflavored Grass-fed Whey Protein powder blended with,
- 14 oz. cold filtered water
- 1 cup organic mixed frozen berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries)
- 1 Tsp. Fish Oil
- 2 large brown eggs (cage-free or free range), scrambled
- 2 pcs. bacon (no nitrites or nitrates)
- 1 cup coffee, black
- Large Salad
- mixed greens
- shredded purple cabbage
- 2 pcs. bacon, chopped
- ½ small avocado
- blackberry balsamic vinegar, drizzled
- Sweet Potato
Dinner (Day 136 Dinner):
- Grilled Tilapia (w/Flavor God’s Everything seasoning)
- Broiled Asparagus w/ghee & garlic
- 1 Gallon+
- Desk/Counter Pushups
- Better sleep
Overall Feelings: Today has been another pretty good day. However, I didn’t go for my 4 miles walk/run today because 1. I’m getting really sore, but mainly 2. because I got a case of the chills and therefore curled up on the couch with a blanket and some hot tea. Hopefully, its just a fluke thing and I’m not coming down with something. Then again, the way I keep shocking my body, it’s probably pissed at me, so I wouldn’t be surprised. Ha!
In all seriousness, I really don’t want to get sick because I already know that tomorrow…I’m going to be one sore puppy and being sick on top of that will really suuuuuuuuuuck.
