Yup, Day 16 is here. To be honest, things have been easier than what I thought they would be. I don’t know why I thought things would be so difficult. I mean, yes, it did take me 10 days to get my butt back into exercising, but it really hasn’t been that bad.
Also, I feel totally fine with the types and amount of food I am eating and just really enjoying it all around. I know, I’m only a little over 2 weeks into things, but hey…if you were able to crawl inside the nugget that sits on top of my shoulders, you would understand the hesitation I had.
It’s a good feeling to know that it was all unfounded. I really don’t know why I was so apprehensive about getting back into the health groove. I guess when you are living you life feeling so lethatic and blah all the time, working out and eating right seems like climbing a mountain. It really isn’t. One baby step at a time if need be. Just start doing it. Period.
There’s a saying I have always liked that goes something like this:
We will remain the same until the pain of remaining the same becomes greater then the pain of change.
It’s such a true statement. We all have our moment when we become ready. The moment when the things that we keep doing just keep compounding the issues we are having and we have that pivotal breaking point and decide enough is enough.
I hope you have yours or that reading my blog helps to inspire you or even someone you love.

Overall Feelings: Things are still going good. I seem to be trucking right along without too much difficulty. My workouts are still in what I consider a ‘”beginner’s stage”, but that will change as the days, weeks, and months move along. As always, I actually continue to be excited for what the future brings. 🙂
NOTES: Nothing more to add. I do need to try to eat snacks or at least one snack during the day. I just wasn’t really hungry today. Hence the quick & easy brinner.
