Day 21! 3 Week into my journey from fat to fit at age 40 plus. Whew!
I have to tell you, I didn’t think that I would feel this great already. I mean, I know I have a long way to go, but I’m rather diggin’ the changes that I can feel already. The focus and mental clarity. The huge reduction in headaches, bloat, fatigue, sleeplessness, joint pain, moodiness, etc etc etc. The ENERGY!
I can’t complain. I mean, anyone who reads this will see that I have yet to have any really bad days. I mean, the first week was rough with all the withdrawals. Going through those headaches/migraines really sucked. I just wanted to crawl into a dark sound-proofed room and stay there for a week.
But you know what?
I got through it.
And now…I feel awesome internally.
2 out of 3 weeks really isn’t that bad. I knew ahead of time I was going to go through the withdrawals, so I was somewhat prepared. I don’t know what the future holds, and I’m sure that I am bound to run into some roadblocks or speed bumps along the way, but right now, I’m going to enjoy how I feel at this very moment.
I know. Deep crap here. 😉
Oh, I almost forgot. Today was weigh-in day too. Well, I weighed in at 194.2 lbs. You can catch the actual weigh-in for this week in the Weekly Roundup – Week 3 video.

Overall Feelings: I feel totally happy. I’m energized and really focused. I noticed that I am not forgetting things as much as I used to, which makes me super happy. All in all, things are still going soo well. I still can’t understand why I ever fell out of this lifestyle. I guess, I just let stress influence me and I just gave up. I lost some passion along the way and I can feel it creeping back in. Doing this blog has really helped in my journey.
Honestly, folks had told me previously that I should write things done or journal my thoughts and feelings each day so I have things to look back on. I just never did it. I wish I had before, because it really helps to keep a record of the things that you are doing. Especially the things that make you happy and feeling AWESOME! 🙂
NOTES: Nothing additional to note today
