Ah, Day 24. Seems like a nice even number. Lol. So I’m closing in on a full month. Things are going great and all I see and feel are all positive. For the second day in a row, a co-worker of mine has expressed a change in me saying that seem more ‘perky’ and ‘lively’. Also, my sister who was away on business for a week saw me and said that she could tell that I’m dropping weight.
I know I’m dropping weight as well because of MY CLOTHES! They are starting to fit better and not as tight. Lol. But seriously, when it comes down to it, I shouldn’t be going by what the scale says, but how my clothes feel. The only reason I am weighing myself weekly is that 1. it’s a hard habit to break and 2. it’s a gauge that’s hard for others to get away from as well.
The most important thing I need to remind myself, is that I need to listen to my body and pay attention to how great I’m feeling as well as how I’m losing inches and not so much about the lbs. That’s a hard habit to break, even though I know deep down, the scale should be thrown away. Not kidding…but….I will continue to use it.
Day 24 Menu and Activities
- 18 minute warm up on treadmill (fast paced walk)
- Leg day (weights)
- 5 minute cool down on treadmill
- 2 large brown eggs (cage-free or free range) scrambled with
- kalua pig
- topped with 1/4 avocado
- 3/4 cup of blueberries, blackberries, and sliced strawberries (organic, if possible)
- 1 cup coffee, black
- 1 Tsp fish oil
- Large Salad
- mixed greens
- kalua pig from Day 21’s dinner
- pineapple salsa
- shredded medley (broccoli, carrots, red cabbage)
- Paleo blueberry muffin
- Left over chicken burger topped with
- 1 Tbs. Original Bitchin’ Sauce
- 1/2 Sweet Potato
- 1 Gallon +
- Energy level still good
- No headaches
- Clothes getting more loose
- No cravings…yet 😉

Overall Feelings: Great! So far this week has been the most productive yet and I am sure my productivity will continue to grow, both at work and in the gym. It’s days like today that I always wonder why in the world (in the past) I would go back to living unhealthy.
