It’s Day 28. Sunday. And not just any given Sunday either. It’s Super Bowl Sunday! GO SEAHAWKS!
Win or lose, I’m proud of Seattle. Back to back Super Bowl appearances. This team has come a long way and I couldn’t be more proud. Would I have loved to see the Cowboys in the Super Bowl? Definitely! However, all in due time. They are looking really good, so I am proud of both my teams this year.
Their are folks in my household that will be very happy the season is over because they could care less about football and they’ll have me back on Sundays…and Mondays…and Thursdays. Mainly Sundays since I usually only watch teams I like. So, they get a 7-month reprieve. Ha!
Now let’s see. Besides it being Super Bowl Sunday, it’s also weigh-in day and the scale found me at 192.6 lbs. That’s a 1.6 lb weight loss for the week. As always, you can see the actually weigh-in in the video for the Week 4 Weekly Roundup. Now, I didn’t hit the weekly 2 lbs. that I always set at my goal, however, that’s not going to deter me.
Thus far, this has been the most productive week for me. My workouts were more intense, both cardiovascular and weight training. Not to mention, her royal highness, Queen Mary, did show up for her monthly visit this morning. So, there’s that too.
My clothes are continuing to get more loose, so I know I am continuing to lose inches and that’s what matters above all else.
Damn the scale. It’s nothing more than a bad habit anyway! 😉

Overall Feelings: Great! I’ve almost completed a full month and I haven’t felt this good in awhile. I’m getting more and more excited for the continuation of this whole journey and looking forward to how living this lifestyle permanently will enhance my overall life.
Getting up early to workout and start my day is becoming more easy with each passing day. My internal alarm is now starting to wake me up before I need to get up. Even on the weekends where I could technically sleep in, my sleeping in is till 7 a.m. Ha! It’s all good though because then I feel I am not wasting the day.
It also gives me quiet time to myself while everyone else is still slumbering away. 🙂
UPDATE: Seahawks lost! 🙁 I still feel great overall, but that was a serious disappointment to the ending of my day as well as the way they lost. What a bone-headed play to call on 2nd and goal on the 1 yd. line. Who does that when you have one of the most powerful running backs in the league? Seattle gave that Super Bowl away to the Patriots. A win is a win, but the Patriots literally had that handed to them. So sad. Oh well, there’s next season. Still proud of both Dallas and Seattle this year.
NOTES: Nothing additional really to note. I’m glad today was a rest day, especially since her royalness showed up today and she brought the pain. Yay me! In all seriousness, regardless…it’s always important to take a rest day or even two during the week. At this moment, I am only taking one. However, as my workouts will intensify my body will require more recovery.
