It’s Day 29. Monday Monday. Yes, I just totally just sang that. Sorry, I must’ve been a ‘The Mamas & The Papas’ groupie in another life. Wait one. Maybe I was already alive then. Um, hmm. Standby for a moment…
Nope. My original statement stands true. I just Googled it. The song came out in 1966 and I wasn’t born until 1973. 🙂
Okay, enough with that. Soo, Monday hasn’t started off so good. I actually had to stay home and call in sick due to the severe pain that her royal bitchness decided to bring with her this month. Ugh. No bueno!
So, I have this lovely thing called endometriosis which makes it feel like every month, someone is taking a sledgehammer to my uterus. Every month it’s basically pain management. Some months, I can actually power through popping ibuprofen. Other months, like apparently this one, ibuprofen isn’t going to cut. I’m talking, laying in the fetal position wrapped around a heating pad wanting nothing more than to jab needles of morphine into your lower gut.
Women with endo know EXACTLY what I’m talking about. All I can say, if you don’t have endo, but you have friends who mention it. Be very nice to them…because trust me, it’s a pain you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy. Okay, maybe you would, but you get the drift. 😉
So, I guess I should also admit that not only did I call in to work sick, but I obviously didn’t work out. It’s not exactly a spectacle I want to display for the public to witness. Yup, so no workout. Sue me. I’ll be back in the gym in the morning.

Overall Feelings: Not too bad, but not that great. As you already know, I’m dealing with a demolition derby inside my lower stomach region and it’s made me kind of…well, not happy at the moment. In all honesty, if it wasn’t for these cramps, I’d probably feel great. More painkillers please. I know, bad to say, but whatever. I want them and I want them now.
I’m actually hoping that with getting back in shape, that it may reduce the amount of pain I go through. At least, that’s what I am hoping. *crossing my fingers
NOTES: There’s nothing really more to add. Tomorrow will be a better day as these cramps usually only last the first couple of days. Yay.
Ending on a good note…I’m surprisingly not bloated! Yay me! 🙂
