Day 39. It’s Thursday, which means one day closer to the weekend and one day closer to Valentine’s Day. J Would it be too corny for me to say that I hope love is in the air for everyone? 😉 Yeah? A little? Eh, get over it. I hope everyone has a day full of warm fuzzies and that’s that!
Things continue to go pretty darn good. Still no major complaints and this is quite easy peasy for the most part.
Some days it’s hard to get up out of bed to head to the gym, but I force myself to do it because I know as soon as I get there, and get my blood pumping (and my body wakes the heck up), I feel good. Not to mention, the rest of the morning, I’m on a natural high from it and that REALLY feels good.
Here’s the day’s list of tasty kibbles.
Day 39 Menu and Activities
- Cardio – Treadmill, 30 min. warmup + 5 min. cool down
- Weights – Abs, 30 min.
- 2 egg omelet with Tilapia (from Day 38 Dinner), topped with
- mild hot sauce
- Fruit medley (blueberries, blackberries, sliced strawberries – organic, if possible)
- 1 cup coffee, black
- 1 Tsp. Fish Oil
- Large Salad (same salad as Day 38)
- mixed greens
- shredded medley (broccoli, carrots, red cabbage)
- chicken taco meat from Day 37 Dinner
- pico de gallo
- Paleo banana and strawberry muffin
- Meatballs Atop Spaghetti Squash
- Quick & Simple Paleo Meals, page 31 (bonus book that comes with the Paleo Recipe Book)
- 1 Gallon +
- Slight headache
Overall Feelings: Good. The afternoon snack continues to help with the late afternoon energy level. I definitely can tell the difference from the mere fact that I WANT to cook in the evenings. Previously, I never wanted to cook so much. Cooking was the last thing that I wanted to do after working all day.
I also got a slight headache in the afternoon. It wasn’t really intense, but the fact that I got one made me pout a bit. I know it’s from sitting in front of the computer all day long. I need to make sure that I am taking more breaks during the day to give my eyes a rest (and possibly wear the glasses that I’m supposed to be wearing….ssshhh)
NOTES: So, I got notification that my ‘Recovery’ protein shake won’t be here until Monday, so that means I have to wait until Tuesday to start adding it to my daily menu, or at least my menu M-F. That’s ok. It was originally scheduled for Monday, then I got a notice that it would be here Friday, so I got excited. Well, it was pushed back out to Monday…so eh, maybe they just like messing with me. 😉
