Day 41! It’s Saturday! Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!!! 🙂 Today is a great day because not only is it Valentine’s Day, but it’s also a 3 day weekend which makes it even more awesome!
So the plan is to go to the Casino tonight for some adult fun and get our grub on at the buffet. I plan on eating all the crab, lobster, and shrimp I can. Nom nom nom nom!
UPDATE: We went to Casino early to hit the buffet before the big rush. We got there at 3:30 and they were already at max capacity so they closed it to us regular folks. The only people who were allowed in were silver and gold card members and since I don’t gamble that often, I’m just a lowly red card holder. What a bummer. I was totally excited to get some healthy grub on.
Oh well, c’est la vie.
Day 41 Menu and Activities
- Cardio – 4 mi. walk
- Steel cut oats with strawberries and blueberries
Paleo banana/strawberry muffin
- 1 cup coffee, black
- 1 Tsp. Fish Oil
- 3 hard boiled egg whites (post walk)
Dinner (BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse):
- Grilled rib-eye steak (yum!)
- Roasted asparagus
- Roasted brussel sprouts
- 3/4 Gallon
- Better sleep
- Better hair and skin
- Less weight
- Loose clothes
- The buffet at the Casino was sold out! 🙁 (lol!)
Overall Feelings: Awesome! Again, it’s Saturday. It’s Valentine’s Day. It’s a 3-day weekend. I’m feeling great inside and out. What more could I ask for? For me, sharing what I do daily has really been the key for me. I enables me to reflect each and every day, and really focus on this journey that I am on. I can’t believe I didn’t do this a long time ago. But you know what, there’s no better time than the present to start, right? 😉
