Day 42! So, it’s Sunday and since it’s a 3-day weekend…that means NO WORK tomorrow. There are few things that are better than realizing yet again on a Sunday evening that you don’t have to go back to the grind the following day. 🙂
Though, it’s not like I sleep in on my days off. Well, if you consider 7 a.m. sleeping in, then I guess so. My internal clock has me up now early on the weekends. I really don’t mind since it make me feel like a get a whole day. That and at least it’s my internal clock and not the obnoxious thing sitting on my nightstand doing the waking.
So, without further delay…here’s the days activities:
Day 42 Menu and Activities
- None – Rest Day
- 2 large brown eggs (cage free or free range), cooked medium
- Leftover rib-eye steak from Day 41 Dinner
- Fruit medley (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries)
- 1 cup coffee, black
- 1 Tsp fish oil
- Handful of macadamia nuts
- Beef Stew
- Your Paleo Staples, page 16 (bonus book that comes with the Paleo Recipe Book)
- 2/3 Gallon
- Better sleep
- Better hair and skin
- Less weight
- Loose clothes
- The buffet at the Casino was sold out! 🙁 (lol!)
Overall Feelings: Pretty good. It’s been a nice weekend thus far and I can’t complain. Things are trucking right along and every day is a constant reminder of how much better I feel than I did 42 days ago at the start of my journey. I found an old picture of me when I was still on Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands. The date of the photo was November 20o5 which means it was 4 months prior to moving to San Diego. That photo really sparks things in me because I know that girl still exists inside just waiting to come back out.
That was nearly 10 years ago. Though I am nearly a decade older, I know I can get back to being that active healthy girl.
That picture is my motivation!
NOTES: Seems that meeting my daily water intake quota on the weekends, as well as eating lunch seems to be difficult for me. Ha! So yeah, I guess I need to work on that.
