Day 43. It’s Monday and since it’s President’s Day, it’s also a day off. This 3-day weekend was nice and relaxing for the most part.
I ran into weird technical glitch stuff with my website this morning, so unfortunately I didn’t make it to the gym to do my cardio as well as weight training (chest/triceps) and worked on fixing my site until the early afternoon.
However, at 2 p.m. the majority of stuff was fixed (thank god for backups), so I went for a 4 mi. walk/run. It was much needed after the morning I had had.
It’s funny how exercising makes you feel better just all around.. J
Day 43 Menu and Activities
- Cardio – 4 mi. walk/run
- 2 large brown eggs (cage-free or free range)), scrambled with
- Aidell’s Chicken and Apple sausage
- Fruit medley (blueberries, blackberries, sliced strawberries – organic, if possible)
- 1 cup coffee, black
- 1 Tsp. Fish Oil
- Peach/Mango Recovery Whey Protein shake (post-walk/run)
- Beef Stew (leftovers from Day 42 Dinner)
- ¾ Gallon
- PATIENCE 😉
Overall Feelings: Overall pretty good. I was slightly stressed this morning when I had to deal with the website technical issues. I can really tell that eating right and exercise have also changed the way I deal with things.
Don’t get me wrong, it was still a stressful situation, but I didn’t react how I used to. I was able to deal with things and maintain my focus to rectify the situation. I was bummed that it took up my entire morning working on it, but I didn’t let it get me down. I just kept trucking along, and all was well by early afternoon.
Also, on the plus side…while I was working on my site, my order from sfh.com was dropped off by UPS, which meant that I got to try it after I went for my 4 mi. walk/run.
So I didn’t have to wait until Tuesday to start using it. 😉
