Day 5’s good news is that the stomach aches that I dealt with on Day 4 have gone away. I guess that’s my body’s way of telling me that it thinks I’m a total jackass for not giving it what it wanted, but regardless has chosen to throw in the towel and accept that I am now living healthy.
Let me just say…detoxing is one heck of a bitch. Ugh!
Something else that’s on the bright side is that my headaches seem to have calmed down. Those boogers aren’t completely gone yet, but they aren’t nearly as painful as previous days. I’m hoping this is the last day of them for quite a long time. *crossing fingers*
Day 5 Menu and Activities
- No workout – Still have slight headaches, so don’t want to chance it at the moment
- Large Salad
- mixed greens
- black olives
- 2 hard boiled eggs
- grape tomatoes
- grilled chicken breast
- very little ranch dressing (approx. 1 Tbs.)
- Barbacoa Salad from Chipotle
- pico de gallo
- 1 Gallon +
- *Up and down stairs all day long and fast paced walking
- Stomach aches are gone
- Headaches are subsiding
- More energy
- Though subsiding, headaches still present
- Still haven’t made it to the gym
NOTES: Though I haven’t made it to the gym yet, Day 5 was quite a busy day for me at work. More so than usual. Had to go up and down flights of stairs several times throughout the day and walked at a fast pace from one end of the building to the other.
Being active doesn’t always mean having to do a traditional workout. It could be done right at your place of employment throughout the day. 🙂
