Day 57! It’s Monday and it’s back to the daily grind. Yet again, I have started this week off with a great workout. For the second week in a row, I seem to have much more energy during my cardio session and I am making those sessions more intense by going longer and faster during my jog/run intervals.
I have to admit, it feels pretty good. I mean, I won’t lie…there are definitely days that I don’t want to get out of bed and I am yawning the whole drive to the gym, as well as a few minutes onto the treadmill. However, after a few minutes, when my body decides to finally wake up…it’s on! 😉
Then the rest of the morning I’m on this natural high that just feels so damn good. I mean, do I LIKE to work out? Most of the time…not really. However, it’s a necessary evil and considering the way it makes me feel overall, it’s awesome!
Okay, enough with that…here’s the daily grub:
Day 57 Menu and Activities
- Cardio (intensified) – Treadmill, 30 min. + 5 min. cool down
- Day 57 Weights – Chest/Triceps, 35 min.
- 1 Scoop Peach/Mango Recovery Whey Protein powder with 8 oz. water
- 1 Tsp. Fish Oil
- 2 large brown eggs (cage-free or free range), scrambled with
- Aidells Chicken & Apple Sausage
- 1 cup blackberries, blueberries, and strawberries (organic, if possible)
- 1 cup hot lemon water
- 1 cup coffee, black
- Large Salad
- mixed greens
- hard boiled egg
- grilled chicken breast
- black olives
- 1 tbs ranch dressing
- Paleo Blueberry Muffin
- Slow Cooker Paleo Teriyaki Chicken
- Coconut Cauliflower Rice
- 1 Gallon +
- High energy
- Longer stamina
- No chronic headaches
- More Focused than ever
Overall Feelings: Even though I had a kickass workout this morning, I am dealing with really bad cramps and bloating….and that doesn’t make me too happy. Hopefully, that will cease here soon. The cramps subsided for the most part during my workout, but there was one point after I ran my fastest sprint on the treadmill that I almost doubled-over from the pain that came on. I guess her highness didn’t like all the heavy breathing I was doing. 😉
With all that said, overall, once the cramps went away with the help of medication of course, the rest of the day was pretty good.
