It’s Day 59 and it’s Wednesday. Another Happy Hump Day! I’m one day away from the 60 day mark and I personally couldn’t be more proud of myself. Yup, I’m tooting my own horn. 😉
Seriously though, I am rather proud of myself thus far. For once I am not killing myself trying to lose weight as fast as possible and doing it in ways that probably are not the healthiest. It’s been a slow and steady journey for me so far and it’s been a real awakening for me. That may seem corny to say, but it’s the truth. I’ve learned a lot about myself on this journey of mine and it’s given me a completely different perspective than my previous weight loss endeavors.
I truly feel that I have finally reached a point in my life where the roller-coaster may have finally come to a stop and I am enjoying my overall lifestyle change to healthier living…instead of dreading it and going hardcore out of the gate to lose as much weight as possible in a given time frame for a given reason only to gain it all back (and then some) once the given reason has come and gone.
Not this time. There’s no time frame. No specific date I’m trying to be ‘ready’ for. This is a permanent change.
Alright, on to the day’s grub…

Today was leg day and I actually enjoyed it for once. Ha! That will probably totally change next week when I start doing longer sessions and incorporation lunges and squats. Yay me! 🙂
It’s all good. I can’t wait for next week. A total change in workout schedule and I am looking forward to it. Change is definitely a good thing and something that we all should do to keep things interesting.
NOTES: Nothing really more to add for today.
