Day 63! It’s Sunday, which means it’s the first day that I get to weigh-in for the diet bet I joined. The contest starts on Tuesday, March 10th, but we get to weigh-in 48 hours prior.
I weighed in and entered my photos that I took, which are required to enter the contest. The photos were verified and accepted, and I am officially entered. I’m totally stoked! 🙂 This is a great way to keep me focused and motivated.
Oh, and just to let you know, I weighed in at 183.4 lbs., which means I have lost exactly 28 lbs. over 63 days. Whoo hoo!
In all honesty, I’m actually used to losing more in that time frame, but that was by doing things WRONG and it wasn’t sustainable nor healthy at all. This time I am going it right and it makes all the difference in the world! 🙂
Alright, enough with all that…on to the daily grub:
Day 63 Menu and Activities
- None – Rest Day
- Paleo Banana Pancakes, topped with
- blended strawberries and blackberries
- 2 cups coffee
- 1 Tsp Fish Oil
- 1 Grilled Chicken Drumstick (leftover from Day 62 Dinner)
- Grilled Pork Loin Chop, rubbed with my Spicy Red Rub
- 1 Sweet Potatoe
- Steamed Asparagus (leftover from Day 62 Dinner)
- 2/3 Gallon
- Laundry and grocery shopping
- Positive attitude
Overall Feelings: Awesome! Seriously, I feel truly awesome and I’m loving it! I have my moments, but they are so little compared to how great overall I am feeling.
My confidence is starting to soar again too. Today I was paid a compliment on 3 different times regarding how I look…one from someone close to me, one from an acquaintance (cashier at the grocery store), and one from a complete stranger (in the parking lot of another grocery store). Needless to say, it put a smile on my face and made me feel really good.
I don’t care who you are. When you get compliments about yourself, no matter how big or small, especially back to back to back…it makes you feel good. And yes, I did have a little bit of a pep in my step afterwards. 😉
NOTES: Do I really have to say it? I mean really? Okay, okay…yes, yes, yes, and yes…I forgot to eat lunch AGAIN. Ugh. I was so busy working on today’s roundup video videos and talking with folks in the diet bet group, that I totally forgot to eat lunch and ran out of time with my errands (grocery shopping) that I had to run. I know…lunch, lunch, lunch Noel!
