Day 66. It’s Wednesday. Happy Hump Day!!! Halfway through another work week and almost another weekend. It’s supposed to be quite warm here in San Diego this weekend. I believe Saturday, the temperature is supposed to be 90 degrees. Whew! I better not make the same mistake as last Saturday and not bring enough water with me on my walk/run. That would definitely suck. 😉
So, I’m thinking tomorrow I might have a problem walking. Seriously. For real. Let’s just say that at the moment, my legs and rear are getting pretty sore from doing my leg workout….which means…tomorrow is going to be pure hell when it comes to simply moving an inch. Today was the first time that I have incorporated doing lunges and squats in many many years. I thought that maybe because I do so much cardio and weight training on the weight machines, that my body would be somewhat prepped.
I was wrong.
I was terribly wrong.
And technically…I should have known better.
Free weights and even body weight exercises are a whole different ballgame. I’m in so much trouble tomorrow. Just you wait and see. I will try to keep tomorrow’s post profanity free…but I’m giving no promises. You’ve been warned. Ha! 😉
And with that, let’s get on to Day 66’s grub:

Overall Feelings: With the exception of getting more and more sore as the day goes on, I’m feeling pretty good. Well, I’m feeling pretty good if I don’t move.
Nah, it’s all good. At least, it tells me that I had a good workout and I know that once the soreness goes away, that I probably won’t be too sore again when I do this workout. No pain, no gain, right?
I also had yet another night of tossing and turning last night. I still think it’s my body adjusting to the evening workout. My brain is tired, but my body is all revved up and I think that is the cause of it. I mean, I could be totally wrong, but I have a feeling things will return to a normal deep sleep shortly. Just need to adjust to things and I will be good to go. 🙂
NOTES: Nothing more to add today. 🙂
