Day 70! So, it’s Sunday and yet another beautiful day here in Sunny San Diego. It’s also another hot day and since I decided to go on my 4 mile walk/run route today since I missed days earlier in the week due to my severe soreness…I nearly passed out again.
Okay, it wasn’t that bad. Though I still ran, I didn’t try to go as hard as I did the previous day in the heat. I was at least a little bit smarter today. It still kicked my butt, however, I didn’t feel faint as soon as I stepped indoors. Eek.
So, this morning when I stepped on the scale for my weekly weigh in, I weighed in at 181.4 lbs. That puts me exactly at the 30 lb. milestone, which is halfway to my first goal of 60 lbs.
Wow…30 lbs. I don’t know what it is, but hitting that halfway point…I can’t explain the way it makes me feel. I feel so accomplished already and not just in the weight loss.
It truly just motivates me to keep on truckin’ along! 🙂
Alright then, let’s get on to today’s list:
Day 70 Menu and Activities
- Cardio – 4 mi. walk/run
- 3 eggs (cage free or free range), cooked medium
- 3 pcs. bacon (no nitrites or nitrates)
- 2 cups coffee
- 1 tsp. fish oil
- Broiled Zucchini
- 2 Tbs. Almond butter
Dinner (leftovers from Day 69 Dinner):
- Grilled Tilapia
- Mashed Garlic Cauliflower
- +1 Sweet Potato
- 1 Gallon
- Stength (mental and physical)
- SLEEP 🙂
- Still no headaches!
Overall Feelings: I’m feeling awesome today. As I stated earlier, I hit the 30 lb. mark today during my weigh in and I couldn’t be happier. This is actually the slowest that it’s taken me to lose this amount of weight, but this is the healthiest and safest way.
It was done correctly and not with any fad diets or extreme measures. I feel so accomplished at this moment, that I can’t imagine how it’s going to feel when I lose the next 30. I’m so dang excited. :
NOTES: Okay, so I know that my lunch wasn’t really a full lunch, but it was a lot of zucchini. I swear. At least I remembered to eat something for lunch. Ha! 😉
