Day 77. It’s Sunday! This morning was the Hot Chocolate 5K Race and it was so hard getting up this morning for it. We didn’t get home until late evening last night after painting all day and then had to be up at 5 a.m. to get ready, drive downtown, and be at the start time of our race at 6:45 a.m. Talk about being one tired puppy.
The race was fun. My group just planned to walk, which I did at first, but then without even realizing it, I was walking faster and faster. When I turned around, my group was far back behind me so I began running at that time. I ran and fast-paced walked and I really enjoyed being out there. I ended up hitting the finish line and waiting about 25 minutes for my group to finally cross. Once they crossed, we headed right over to the Hot Chocolate mug booth to claim our tasty chocolaty treats for finishing the race.
Basically, I knew straightaway that this would be a definitely ‘cheat’ meal. 😉
I almost forgot…this morning I weighed myself and I was 178.0 lbs. Yay! Say goodbye to the 180s…well…hopefully considering the crap I ate today, which you will see below.

Overall Feelings: So today was a good day. I feel as though a lot was accomplished. It was quite the busy day and even though I was mentally tired, I seemed to have great energy physically. By the evening time though, my physical strength caught up and I was whooped! I don’t think there will be any issues with sleeping.
NOTES: So today’s cheat meal turned into an entire day. Though this is my first cheat day since I started, considering that I just hit under 180 lbs., I won’t be surprised if I get on the scale this morning and it laughs at me telling me, “Not so fast!” Hopefully, that won’t be the case, but I’m sure it will be and I won’t be too happy about it. I won’t beat myself up about it, but I will definitely be eating very cleanly this week.
I consumed A LOT of sugar and sodium, so most of the weight will be water, which I hope will be dropped within the first few days.
Considering I did not eat that much yesterday, and then when I do, I feed my body junk…hmm, not good at all.
I just need to ensure that doesn’t happen a lot and things should be fine. If it wasn’t for the diet bet that I am two weeks into and ends in two weeks, I wouldn’t care so much. It would just be one of those days and I’d just keep driving forward.
