Day 82. And guess what day it is??? It’s FRIDAY! Yay! TGIF! Another work week done. I can’t believe we are at the end of March already. It’s crazy how fast this year is going already! It seems to be on hyper-drive or something. It will be summer soon, then fall, then winter, and all the holidays again. Whoa Noel…let’s not get ahead of ourselves. I know, I know…it just seems like that is how fast time it flying by right now.
Like I said yesterday, I have another busy weekend ahead of me. Spring cleaning on Saturday and then helping my friends with their move on Sunday. It’s also supposed to be pretty hot this weekend, so I’m sure that’s going to make things seem even more strenuous. But, I’d rather it be hot than cold. We do seem to have prettty warm/hot spring seasons. Then it gets mild in June and then by late July, it’s getting super hot again. I wouldn’t trade it for the world! I love San Diego! 🙂
Do to the heat and some lovely monthly ‘pre-cramps’ (that witch sent out her scouts!), my afternoon walk/run wasn’t as intense as the previous days. As a matter of fact, I didn’t run nearly as much as I normally do. Looking at the bright side…at least I went because part of me was dreading it.
Okay, so let’s get on to Day 82’s activities and menu:

Overall Feelings: I felt pretty good for the most part during the day. However, by late afternoon, I began becoming pretty tired and the last thing I wanted to do was go on my 4 mile route. I did force myself, but I was a little bummed because though I wanted to see if I could beat my time, I felt pretty sluggish. I also began having pre-cramps, which really put a damper on things. On top of that, it was quite warm out…so I guess I just couldn’t give it my all like I did the day before.
I think my tiredness is completely due to PMS. By late evening time, I felt like I had just ran a marathon. I felt completely exhausted and couldn’t wait to go to bed. Even getting to bed was a chore. The moment I laid down, my body felt like a ton of bricks to where rolling over and getting more comfortable felt like an hour workout. Ha!
NOTES: UPS dropped off my new protein powder today, so I am excited to give that a try. I might test it out this weekend, but if not, starting Monday I’ll be back to having that post-workout in the morning and taking my breakfast with me to work. This is supposed to be an unflavored protein, so I will probably be mixing it with frozen fruit and/or raw organic cacao.
