Day 95! So it’s Thursday, which means one more day until the weekend. Hmm, seems like I am always counting down to the weekend, huh? It seems like it’s been a long week, but in reality it hasn’t. I think the ordeal with my pup just made this week feel off.
Like I mentioned yesterday, I DID indeed get back into the workout rhythm this today.
Ok, 50%. I worked out this morning, but did not do my 4 miles for my p.m. workout. I know, I know…boo!
But, you know what…that’s okay. Again, it’s good to mix things up and I can almost guarantee that my body is confused at what’s going on. When everything gets back on schedule next week, I’ll probably have a bigger drop in weight. At least, that’s what I suspect.
If you are going through a plateau, this is actually a good thing to do. At least from experience that is what I’ve always done. Except, I’m not currently going through a plateau. However, that’s beside the point.
If you are going through a plateau, change things up. Take a bit of a break on your workouts, and/or eat a little more. Now, this doesn’t mean go crazy or anything. Still try to be healthy in your selections, but throw your body into a little bit of confusion for the next few days, and then get right back into things. It’s how I have always broken a plateau in the past. When I finally reach one again, I’ll be doing the same thing.
With that said, let’s get into Day 95’s menu and activities:

Overall Feelings: Things are pretty good today. Yes, I didn’t go on my p.m. walk/run, but I did get up this morning and weight trained. I was all set to go for my p.m. workout, but at the last minute, I changed my mind and decided to eat dinner and relax. Also, my dinner wasn’t the healthiest as it was Shepard’s Pie and the way my better half makes it, is not exactly Paleo. Ha! It is quite tasty though. This week has been an overall “off” week, but you know what, that’s okay. It’s still be relatively healthy in regards to my diet. It’s just the working out that hasn’t been on par this week.
It’s not the end of the world though and sometimes, it’s a good thing to take a slight break. It’s actually how I believe I’ll maintain the longevity of this lifestyle.
However, if your will-power is not on par yet, I wouldn’t suggest it. Just know that the longer you take a break, the harder it will be to return. Don’t let that happen.
NOTES: Nothing more to add today.
