Day 96! Yay it’s Friday!!! TGIF! I’m so happy it’s Friday. Then again, who isn’t happy when Friday rolls around? This week has just been a weird week altogether, so I’m looking forward to getting back to a normal routine next week.
My new diet bet isn’t off to a great start, but then again, taking a little time off from the normal workout routine may actually end up benefiting me.
I still did my weight training for the most part, but not the 4 miles in the afternoon that I’ve been doing daily. My plan is still to do it on Saturday like I normally do and possibly on Sunday as well since technically I have already had my rest days during the week. 😉 We’ll see how Sunday plays out. There’s actually a lot of work I need to do on this blog.
I know many of my friends have been waiting for me to post all the recipes I have been using. I know, I know…I’m sorry. That’s the one thing about blogging…when you get behind on things, they really start to add fast. Eek! The one thing that I have tried to do is always at least post daily of what I’ve done for the day. And YES, I know…I missed a couple of those too.
But come on now…I’ve done a pretty good job at posting daily and keeping everyone in the loop about my progress. Right? Right!?!? 😉
With that said, let’s get into Day 96’s menu and activities:
Day 96 Menu and Activities
- Day 96 Weights – Legs, 50 min.
- 2 Scoops ProMix Unflavored Grass-fed Whey Protein powder blended with,
- 14 oz. cold filtered water
- 1 cup organic mixed frozen berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries)
- 1 Tsp. Fish Oil
- 3 large brown eggs (cage-free or free range), scrambled with
- Aidells Chicken & Apple Sausage
- 1 cup coffee, black
- Large Salad
- mixed greens
- grilled chicken breast
- black olives
- hard-boiled egg
- 1 tbs. ranch dressing
- Sweet Potato
- 1 Gallon+
- Solid Sleep
Overall Feelings: It’s Friday, so obviously I’m feeling great! Ha! 😉 No seriously though, things have been pretty good. I can’t complain. Though it seems like it’s been a strange week, things have still been pretty good overall. My energy levels are still up for the most part, but I just haven’t been as motivated to go for my 4 mile walk/run this week. Maybe saying that I haven’t been motivated is the wrong phrase to use. I’m still motivated, I just have been a little off this week and decided to take a little break from the two-a-days, that’s all.
Everything will be back to normalcy next week. I guar-an-tee! 😉
Okay, okay…there’s been some other stuff going on this week, but I just haven’t mentioned it because it’s another part of my life that I temporarily stepped away from because I needed to focus 110% on my health. I’ll just say that there has been a convention going on in San Jose in which I have been watching/listening to the live stream online since Thursday and the live stream goes from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., so that kind of threw a wrench in my p.m. workout plan. I would have actually been at the convention, but as I said, I needed to focus on the health and fitness part of my life. This is #1 right now.
I know I’m being slightly cryptic and I may actually talk about this other stuff, but right now, it’s all about this healthy lifestyle journey that I am on…however, something amazing DID happen at the convention that will fit in nicely with my overall health, fitness, and well-being and all I can say is, I can’t wait! 😉
