Day 97! So today is Saturday and it’s kind of another weird day activity wise. Actually, that’s the wrong thing to say since I am actually doing a lot and getting quite a bit done while multi-tasking. It’s just a different kind of activity where I am using mental exertion versus physical. Ha!
I am basically working on trying to get caught up with website stuff both on this blog and on another site of mine, all the while streaming the live feed of the final day of the convention, I briefly mentioned, on another screen.
I actually intended to go for my 4 mile walk/run today, but then decided not to stress about it and to continue working since i was on a roll.
And, since I was going to not workout at all today, I was also going to kind of use it as a day to somewhat fast. Intermittent Fasting (IF) is a common practice in the fitness world, but I can’t really say that it was planned that way.
Also, in the end, I did end up eating. Though I only ate a brunch and a dinner…nothing else. I basically only ate if I was hungry or at least, when I noticed I was hungry since I was so involved with what I was doing all day. Not to mention, though I wasn’t doing any physical activity, I still needed to feed my brain. 😉
With that said, let’s get into Day 97’s menu and activities:
Day 97 Menu and Activities
Lunch (more like a Brunch today):
- 2 large brown eggs (cage-free or free range), cooked medium
- 1 Aidells Chicken & Apple Sausage
- 1/2 large sweet potato
Dinner (leftovers from Day 93):
- Slow Cooker Paleo Chicken Adobo
- Coconut Cauliflower Rice
- 1 Gallon
Overall Feelings: I’m actually feeling really good right now. Yes, as I have stated all week, it’s been a rather strange week of activity or lack there of, but I think it has been good. I have been on such a routine with only a slight deviation here and there for the last 3 months, that having a week here that has been totally different will benefit me.
Come Monday (yes, the infamous ‘Monday’ statement), everything will go back to the regular workout schedule.
The other reason I feel good about this, is that I’ve still stayed pretty much on track eating wise. When folks deviate from there diet lifestyle, they normally do so with their eating and not so much with their workout. I’ve maintained the same eating schedule for the most part, so the lack of cardio probably won’t affect me too much. 😉
