Every time I make tilapia, I have to season it with this rub that I absolutely love. It tastes so good and I would have never thought that I was eating fish, which is exactly how I like it. 🙂
Not only do I use this on fish, but pork, chicken, and turkey as well.
I always like to make extra and then store it in an airtight container in the cabinet so I can grab it any time for quick use. Not that it’s hard to make at all and most folks have these seasonings in their cabinet or on the spice rack.
Also, it’s really not that spicy. You could easily kick up the heat by adding my chili powder or also a little cayenne pepper.
Spicy Red Rub
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons ground coriander
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
2 teaspoons freshly cracked black pepper
Mix all ingredients well together.
